Merry Christmas, from The Clearance Bin
My favorite holiday, bar none, is Christmas. What a time. Magic elves in the arctic make toys for all the boys and girls to celebrate the birth of the sun god, while fundamentalists whine about people saying "Happy Holidays." Music to my ears.
Last year, I offered some digital greetings in an effort to put the X-Men back in X-Mas. It's time for a sequel of sorts, though this time it's going to be a little less focused and a little more... personal. You see, I've always loved Christmas trees, but getting one up to a third-story New York apartment just isn't worth it.
So, instead of a tree, my wife and I started decorating our toy collection a few years ago. It's kind of become a tradition, and I thought I'd share a few of the highlights:
