About The Clearance Bin
The Clearance Bin is an action figure, toy, and collectible review site aimed at adult collectors. As you're probably aware, this is far from the only game in town: there are some other fantastic collectible sites out there. In fact, I set up this page listing a few of my favorites.
So, if there are numerous other sites out there - most having been around longer - why bother with The Clearance Bin at all? The way I see it, there are a few factors setting this site apart. As the name implies, The Clearance Bin is geared towards collectors without unlimited funds.
The central idea of The Clearance Bin is that, given time and an inclination, a stunning collection can be built on a budget. Some of the coolest toys I've got were found for a fraction of their retail cost. If you keep your eyes open and know where to look, you can find amazing deals.
In addition to reviews, I also publish articles and toy-related humor, all of which can be found here.

Introductions are a bit belated, but here goes: my name is Erin Snyder. I was raised in Maine, attended college in western Massachusetts, spent a year and a half in Washington, DC, seven years in New York City, and finally moved to Seattle. I'm an aspiring fiction writer - if you're interested, I've got a few stories posted to my fiction website at www.erinlsnyder.com. In addition, I maintain a couple of blogs, including The Middle Room, which offers movie reviews and articles about superheroes, animation, and other geeky things. I write the majority of what's published here, but far less would be readable if it weren't for my wife, who reads over it for spelling and grammar. In addition, when she's not too busy, I can sometimes talk her into doing a guest review or article about toy customization, a subject she knows inside and out. If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to fill out this form, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Until then, keep using the price checker: the labels sometimes lie. |
