From the Workshop: Alternate Princesses Supplement

What follows is a quick photo essay regarding the Disney Princess dolls previously reviewed here.  I wanted to make a further case for how great these dolls are once you get them out of their cheap glittery frou-frou. 

Without further ado, here are some Princesses never released by the Disney Pink Glitter Machine.

These first two give the girls a look more accurate to their source material.

Medieval Aurora

Aurora has ditched her pink sparkles for a soft gown of purple satin.


Dress is from a 12" LoTR Arwen,
(and looks much better on Aurora)




 






Traditional Chinese Mulan


Mulan is trying out a more detailed Chinese outfit. 

Perhaps not quite her era though...

Okay, there's no good rationale here, I just thought the dress looked way better on her than on its original owner.
